A Bit About Us
Our 10 cute, clean,
and comfortable cottages are perfect for couples, families, and fishermen.
Nestled on 11 beautiful – mostly untouched – acres, circled by rolling hills, the
cottages offer quiet comfort, scenic surroundings and a place to get away from every
day life.
We are tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet just minutes from Frankfort, Beulah,
Manistee, and Traverse City, Lake Michigan beaches, the Betsie River, Crystal Lake,
the Herrings Lakes, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Wine Country.
Recreational
opportunities abound, such as: art and craft shows, beach combing, biking, bird watching,
boating, canoeing & kayaking, dining, fishing of all kinds, galleries, golfing,
hiking, lighthouses, sailing, shopping, skiing, swimming, wineries, and some of the
best sunsets you'll ever experience!

How To Find Us
We are located
a few miles south of Frankfort on M-22, less than a mile south of the village of
Elberta. From the road you'll see our sign out front, the big yellow house, and the
10 cottages.
Our Location on Google Maps
On US-31 from
either direction – at the top of the hill in Benzonia (there's a traffic light
with Stapleton's Mobil gas station on northwest corner):
- Turn west on to
M-115 and take it about 7 miles to Frankfort.
- After passing
under the arch to Frankfort, at the bottom of the hill, you'll see a Shell gas station
on your right and the A & W restaurant to your left. Turn left onto
M-22 south, a.k.a. Lake Street, a.k.a. South Scenic Hwy.
- Take that for
2.2 miles around and across Betsie Bay and through the little village of Elberta
and about 3/4 of a mile south is our place on the right!!
On M-22, coming
from the south – watch for us on the left (west) before the village of Elberta
(that is, 3/4 of a mile south of Elberta).
On M-22, coming
from the north on M-22 –
- Come info Frankfort,
turn left at the blinker light (Forest Avenue) and go about 1/2 mile to where you'll
see you'll see a Shell gas station on your left and an A & W restaurant
to your right. Here, turn right onto M-22 south, a.k.a. Lake Street,, a.k.a.. South
Scenic Hwy.
- You'll take that
for 2.2 miles around and across Betsie Bay and through the little village of Elberta
and about 3/4 of a mile south is our place on your right!!
